Shipping policy

Because I handle completely original charcoal drawings and hand-pressed prints, I don’t pack things like a standard commercial warehouse. Every single piece is prepared and wrapped carefully by hand right here in my studio to make sure it arrives at your door in absolute perfect condition.

Dispatch Times

Original Drawings & In-Stock Prints: Usually packed and dispatched within 2 to 3 working days.
Hand-Pressed Editions: If a linocut edition needs to be freshly pulled or requires additional studio drying time before it can be safely packaged, it may take up to 5 working days to ship. I will always email you directly to let you know if this is the case.

How Your Art is Protected in Transit

Original Charcoal Pieces: Charcoal is exceptionally delicate. Your original drawing will be layered carefully in a protective sleeve to stop any smudging, backed with rigid board, and shipped completely flat inside a heavy-duty, cardboard mailer.

Linocut & Fine Art Prints: Packed flat with a stiff backing board inside a clear protective sleeve, then sealed in a reinforced mailer.

Note: I do not roll original charcoal drawings or thick linocut prints into tubes, as rolling can permanently warp the paper or disrupt the raw texture of the media.

Tracking & Delivery
All UK orders are shipped via Royal Mail Tracked 24 / Tracked 48. As soon as your package leaves the studio, a tracking link will be automatically emailed straight to you so you can follow its journey.

Damages & Returns
In the rare event that a courier manages to damage a reinforced package in transit, please take a quick photo of the damaged packaging and the artwork and email me at themarkgilmour(at)gmail.com right away. I will get it sorted out for you immediately.
