The Story Behind the Print
Cats are curious little weirdos. Give them a perfectly good home, a cosy bed and all the attention in the world, and somehow a paper bag becomes the most exciting thing they've ever seen.
This playful linocut captures that classic cat moment: head firmly stuck inside a paper bag, completely oblivious to the fact that his backside is hanging out the other end.
It's a little celebration of the daft things cats do and the ridiculous situations they manage to get themselves into. A fun, characterful piece for cat lovers who know that living with a cat means accepting that absolute nonsense is just part of everyday life.
Behind the Print
Created using the traditional linocut process, this design was carved by hand into a lino block before being inked and printed onto paper.
I love the bold shapes and graphic quality of linocut, especially when creating characters with a bit of attitude. The strong contrasts, carved details and handmade marks give this silly little scene plenty of personality without taking itself too seriously.
Each print carries the distinctive look of the original carved design, celebrating the charm of handmade printmaking and the wonderfully unpredictable nature of cats.

Packaging & Care
Your print will be carefully packaged with protective wrapping and rigid backing to help keep it safe during delivery.
For the best display, I recommend framing it with a mount to give the design some breathing room. A simple black frame would complement the bold linocut style, while a natural wood frame would add a softer, more playful feel.
